Before I can speak intelligently about the products and services that might be appropriate for you and your family, I need to get to know you. And, before you can feel comfortable sharing your goals and dreams, you need to get to know me.

My career in the financial services industry began in January 1978 when I joined the Northwestern Mutual. My previous training in law allowed me to expand my practice beyond individual financial solutions to include working with small business and doing estate analysis.

As my clients aged, my conversations with them shifted from insurance based issues to wealth management and health care issues. In particular, I developed an expertise in Long-Term Care.

In 2001, I co-authored a book on Long-Term Care on  planning for seniors and their families. It won the 2000 National Writer's Digest Award and the 2001 National Mature Media Award.

Also in 2001, I was named Long-Term Care Specialist for the James A. Schwertfeger Financial Group, now known as the Holter Financial Group. I have served on the board of the Milwaukee Jewish Home & Care Center since 1999.

I am the Past President of the Society of Financial Service Professionals (1997-1998), and I am Past President of Estate Counselors Forum (1994-1995).
